Cedar's sixth birthday. Look at that smug look on Cedar's face. He is sitting in the high stool receiving his speeches. At each birthday in our family, each person gives a speech to the birthday person, saying all the good things they can think of about them. The children love it. They get filled up with encouragement. I think they enjoy it even better than presents. There are always loads of children at each party--but all cousins! We don't have to go to much trouble to invite--call the cousins and they'll all be there, and it's enough for a big party! Sharar, Evangeline's son is standing on the left.
